Last class we could watch a teenaged Pablo Sainz Villegas and the present one. He showed us "good manners". Doesn't him?
Here you can watch Pedro Chamorro's old years. He is a very important bandurrist in Spain (the most one) but he also was a child, of course. He's the composer of our present collective class score: "Estudio 1"

Welcome to the new Course 2011-2012

We're going to learn some important things with our new piece (Suite).
The second movement (Minuetto Clasico) has a ternary structure.
In this video you can listen an example (and follow the score). Please, mind these parts while you're playing.

Contestando a Lucía (perdón pero he estado fuera de España y sin acceso a Internet) sobre el concierto que os anuncié, ahí os van los datos y el programa (unos 10 minutos):

La fecha es el día 5 de mayo. La hora está por confirmar. La actividad es obligatoria ya que es una "Jornada de puertas abiertas" para promocionar el centro de cara al exterior y para que se puedan ver y escuchar nuestros instrumentos.

"La follia" de Vivaldi

Hola a todos/as:
Perdón por el retraso.
Aquí tenéis unos cuantos enlaces sobre la obra que estamos tocando en colectiva.

- La partitura se puede descargar (completa, las 19 variaciones, nosotros sólo tocamos el tema y 3 variaciones) aquí.
- Podéis ver y oir cómo suena (completa) en versión de dos violines, cello y clave aquí
Pregunta:
Si la partitura tiene tres pentagramas ¿por qué hay 4 músicos tocando? (Los violines tocan cada uno una partitura diferente ¿eh?)

Web sobre instrumentos musicales

Hola:

Tal y como os expliqué en la clase colectiva, aquí tenéis el enlace para visitar la web de los instrumentos españoles de plectro.

En youtube podéis ver cómo se construye una bandurria barroca en este enlace.

Podéis agrandar el video para verlo mejor.

Os recuerdo que debéis buscar otras páginas, videos o sitios web donde podamos ver cómo se contruyen nuestros instrumentos o también de otras familias (para ver sus diferencias). No enlacéis páginas de constructores o luthieres que sólo tengan información de lo que venden. Deben aparecer procesos constructivos (o sea, cómo se construyen) con fotos, videos o explicaciones interesantes para todos.

Para que os vayáis animando, os enlazo este Sitio con un video con gente trabajando en un taller. Muy interesante.

The bells!

Hola bloggeros:
Sobre la última pieza que os he repartido, y que tocaremos, con todos sus efectos y percusiones, en enero, os doy algunos datos:
Como os dije, está basada en un poema de Edagar Allan Poe, un poeta norteamericano del siglo XIX, nacido hace 200 años, famoso por sus poemas y sobre todo por sus relatos y cuentos de terror y misterio. El poema original (The bells, o sea, Las Campanas) podéis leerlo aquí en su versión original en inglés. Su traducción al español no me gusta en ninguna de las muchas versiones que hay, pero puede serviros ésta o ésta.
El poema está dividido en 4 secciones. La canción también (más una CODA que une las 4). A ver si encontráis semejanzas.
Espero vuestros comentarios sobre el poema, y a partir de enero sobre la música.

Marlo Strauss y los Dinosaurios

Hola "blogueros":
Os adjunto algunos datos sobre Marlo Strauss. Para saber quién es podeís visitar su sitio web.
Lamentablemente está en alemán y seguro que no entendéis casi nada.
Os adelanto que es alemán, nacido en 1957, toca mandolina y guitarra (es profesor de mandolina en la Hochschule für Musik en Wuppertal).
Escribe especialmente obras didácticas para formaciones de plectro, de la cual la "Saurophonia" e sun buen ejemplo. Los mandolinistas tocan muchas obras de él.
Está casado con Marga Wilden-Hüsgen. La pregunta para todos es:
¿Quién es Marga Wilden-Hüsgen?

Premio especial para quien me dé una buena referencia de esta mujer...
